SuperValu Kids in Action-87 
 John Burke, Store Manager and Claire Kealy, Customer Services Manager with teachers Catriona Lowry and Margaret Brennan and the pupils of the Senior Infants Class of St. Patrick’s National School launching the 4th year of Kids In Action with Caulfield’s Super Valu Loughboy. Kids In Action which promotes exercise and activity for kids as well as healthy eating will run until March 22nd and allows them to collect vouchers sports equipment for their school. For every €10 spent in your local Caulfields SuperValu store, the shopper is awarded 1 voucher for sports equipment for their local school. To promote healthy eating, every time you spend €10 on fruit and vegetables the shopper is awarded 2 vouchers. Over 80% of schools nationwide have signed up to the program since 2006. This year the program has been extended to Juvenille Clubs and they now can collect for sports equipment. Over the past 3 years, SuperValu has given back over €3.5m in equipment to primary schools nationwide. Last year, SuperValu gave back €1.2m in sports equipment. Each school will have the opportunity to win €500 towards their school sports day. At the end of the promotion, all schools that have participated in the redemption will be entered into a draw for the prize.
